As a kid, I grew up riding mostly America's sporthorse - the mighty Thoroughbred - and 40 years later, not much has changed! Being the daughter of a racehorse guy and a mom who groomed and rode horses for friends and eventually in her own backyard (when her parents decided the passion wasn't going away!), I was bit by the riding bug quite early in life! We had a barn in our backyard from the time I was 3  and my parents  owned boarding barns from the time I was 10 , so I literally grew up in a barn. From the pony ring, to the juniors, jumpers, equitation, and amateurs, I did it all and rode whatever came my way. My personal horses were largely thoroughbreds as warmbloods were becoming more popular and mainstream, my parents didn't appreciate the big price tags that came with them. From that point forward, I developed a deep love and appreciation for the brave, competitive, athletic, willing, intelligent, kind hearted horses they are and it has become my passion to keep them current and competitive in the warmblood dominated equestrian world today. Our program emphasizes consistency, patience, and individualized training to meet the needs of all our OTTBs so they can find a second career that they can thrive in.
