About Us

Learn to Ride

Whether you're just starting out, or  looking to take your riding to the next level, we are here to help you reach your riding goals! Celebration Farm offers private riding lessons on your own horse, or come start out on one of ours!

Come Horse Show With Us

We are proud to offer horse shows for whatever levels our riders are looking to compete at! From the local NIHJA shows to the highest national competitions, there is nothing more rewarding than helping riders reach their highest potentials!

Friendships, Family, Fun

Celebration Farm takes pride in encouraging riders to be their very best in the show ring, but also as they follow their dreams in  life. Horses are magnificent animals that have much to teach us far beyond what we accomplish in the saddle.

Meet Our Team

Amy Farmer

Amy is the owner of Celebration Farm and has been riding and showing horses on the 'A' circuit for most of her life. With a bachelor's degree in education, Amy brings her knowledge and ability to teach together with her expertise in riding and horsemanship, to create a positive and successful environment for all students of our sport. Amy has brought students up from never having sat on a horse, all the way to competing at national competitions including USEF Pony Finals, Devon, and Harrisburg. Through the years, she has celebrated much success from the ponies all the way through the highest levels of the pro rings, attended clinics with some of the top professionals in the industry, and is currently working towards her USHJA Trainer Certification. Kate Wichmann

Kate has worked side by side with Amy for over a decade and brings her knowledge and riding ability to students and horses at all levels of our program. Her ability to develop young horses and take them up through the levels in the hunter and jumper rings is truly a gift. Kate takes pride in her student's accomplishments whether they are learning to ride for fun, or to compete, and works closely with riders to ensure that they achieve their goals. Kate has accomplished much in the show ring herself having gone all the way to National finals during her college years, to huge success in both the hunter and jumper divisions - most recently boasting a Hunter Derby win! Sandie Wolfe

Sandie is a teacher by trade and prides herself on giving the newest of riders the confidence they need to succeed in the saddle! Although she herself learned to ride as an adult, she is a true student of the sport and her commitment to her students is second to none. Safety and security are what riders can expect to feel when they ride with Sandie, and she has the ability to provide instruction to the youngest of students in a way that is fun and interactive while they develop the skills they need to be successful! Looking for info on how to get started? - Call Sandie 847-826-4522

Sergio Novoa

Sergio has been with Celebration Farm for 7 years and is absolutely instrumental to our program. Whether it's the way horses are presented at the show ring, the "behind the scenes" care they receive at home, rehabbing an injury, or helping riders interact with their horses, Sergio's attention to detail is unsurpassed. He, along with Serafin and Amador, are always there to make sure we remain a well oiled machine whether at home or away!

Bobby, Esson, Emmy, and Slew

Four of the very BEST horses to teach anyone the basics of riding whether you are just starting out or looking to further your skills! This crew is safe, reliable, and have the ability to take you where you want to go and we feel blessed to have them every day! Shareboard and in-house lease options are available for those who want to dip their toe in to horse ownership - call or message Amy for details!

"Big" is a 16.2, 10 year old,  registered hanoverian gelding that can take anyone from the crossrails to the 3'3" rings at the highest levels of the sport! He's a beautiful mover with a nice jump and is about as brave as they come. Was a winner in the Junior and Amateur rings at WEF 2017, and is ready to bring another rider into the winner's circle! Lease or Sale options available! Video in the 3'3" Juniors at WEF https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3gXa5ddUbU&t=8s

"Fiesta" is an 8 year old hanoverian mare with phenomenal bloodlines that could be your next exceptional hunter or broodmare. Fiesta has beautiful movement, a nice round jump, and auto change, and has light show miles up to 3'3" with a pro and junior rider. Needs a bit of an accomplished rider. Can currently be seen and tried in Canada. Reasonably priced in the low 5 figures. Video in the 3'3" Junior hunters https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIasFOHnovc

"Riddick" is an absolute sweetheart who is looking for a low key home for hacking and jumping. He has an old, healed soft tissue injury and needs a home that can use him appropriately as he has a few limitations. Would make a phenomenal beginner jumper school horse, or a nice horse for someone looking for a fun, low level riding horse. FREE to the right situation!

Esson is an 8 year old 16.2 hand retired TB gelding that has a heart of gold and a work ethic to match. The absolute most willing, kind horse I've ever had the pleasure of retraining and is suitable for all levels from learning flatwork up to the 3' hunters. Available for in-house lease Sept 1!

"QP" is a 2 year old filly by C. Quito out of a Popeye K mare that will make up to be a phenomenal hunter. She's got the movement and mind to be a superstar. Leads, lunges, wears tack, and has been backed, she's a blank slate for someone to develop into the horse of their dreams!
